Replace fuel diaphragm, fuel pickup tube and air cleaner
This 5hp B&G was manufactured in 1985! Had been garage kept and always dependable. After 10 years of non use the carb wasn't getting gas. Removed air cleaner box, muffler and crankcase breather to easily remove carb, replace parts and reassemble.

The tube pick up mod. # 391813 will not go on the brass tube, it is too small what will fit this model?

Thank you for your inquiry. The tube pick up, part number 391813, is for 2 and 3 quart tanks. There is another tube-pick up listed under your model number and the part number for it is PS8988802. This may be the one you need. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
Hello Mike, thank you for your question. The carburetor Fuel Pick-up Tube draws fuel from the fuel tank to the engine carburetor. I hope this helps and good luck with your repair!
