393010S muffler threads on the motor are stripped. Is there a way to fix the threads on the engine block?

Hello Gary, thank you for reaching out. We would recommend replacing the damaged muffler, part number PS8962128, as the methods to repair the stripped threads are tedious and not cost-effective.
