The crisper drawer cover sits on top of your vegetable crispers and helps to maintain proper crisper temperatures. It also doubles as a sturdy lower shelf for extra storage in your refrigerator. If the drawer cover is damaged or cracked, it will not be able to do either of its jobs, and should be replaced. This replacement cover features shallow, wide grooves to prevent leaks and to catch spills. It also has rail brackets underneath to hold the drawer, allowing the drawer to slide in and out. It is made with some added structural rigidity that makes it stronger and more durable than the original. This model measures 24 1/2 inches long x 19 inches wide x 2 5/8 inches deep.

What are the dimensions of the crisper drawer cover?

I tried to get a replacement for this part and was told it's not a good part number. However it's printed on the shelf itself. i was told the item number that is correct for this model # is a different #. i ordered it because i was told the other is no good. very strange that the # printed on the item is not in your records. did the #'s change??? the item # on the crisper draw top is 197d4944cav1

We took out the fruit & veg crispers. Unfortunately we cannot get the glass top to re-install. I don't see a way to slide it in to be flush with top of the bin. The manual with the unit is useless for detail on the glass.

Crisper Drawer Cover was broken, and i wanted to add a third shelf for my garage fridge
I slid the old crisper drawer cover out, and slid the new one in. Then I respaced the other shelves, making room for the third shelf, and put the new shelf in. Apart from the time it took me to unpack the boxes these parts came in, and to remove my groceries from the fridge, the "repair" itself took all of about 90 seconds.

Broken crisper drawer cover
After removing all items from the broken top, I removed both drawers and crisper top. I then slid the new top in place and replaced the drawers which easily slid into the grooves in the underside of the top.

The bottom shelf that covers the crisper drawers was cracked.
This was so easy. Got the model number off the refrigerator door. Internet searched and found this website. Ordered the part. Waited maybe 3-4 days for it to arrive. Opened the box, open refrigerator door remove old broken part, install new part and reinstall the drawers. Piece of cake!! So glad I didn’t have to replace a perfectly good refrigerator. Thank you.

Tray Holding Vegetable Bins Split In Center
All I had to do was remove what I had on the shelf, remove the bins, replace the shelf and slide the bins back in, replace what I had on the shelf and close the door. I am so happy now when I open the refrigerator door and the new (unbroken) shelf has replaced that old broken one.

Huge crack in the vegetable pan cover
