This Belleville washer, also called a disc spring or conical spring washer, is a component in your lawn equipment that distributes load and keeps tension in check in areas where controlled compression is needed such as in suspension systems and blade assemblies. If the washer is damaged, showing signs of deformation, cracks, or warping, your machine will have no cushioning between their parts and your machine will wear out faster. Use a pair of pliers or a flathead screwdriver to remove a washer from your machine. If it is stubborn, apply some penetrating oil to help loosen it. Remember to consult your user guide to determine how many washers you need and where they are in your machine. Since these washers are sold individually, it is strongly recommended that you replace all your washers in one go as they wear out at the same rate.
