This flange split bushing is a genuine OEM part used to add stability and reduce friction damage between rotating parts, such as drive shafts and gears, in a variety of outdoor power equipment. The bushing has an outside diameter of 1 1/3 inches and an inner diameter of 1 inch, as well as a flange on one end which prevents the bushing from moving during use. It is made of nylon which is a type of material known for its resistance to wear, and ability to self-lubricate. The bushing is split along its length, for easy removal and installation. The bearing may become damaged if it is inadequately lubricated, or from continuous exposure to heat and chemicals. If you notice that your equipment is excessively noisy, shaking, and difficult to maneuver, you will need to replace the bushing promptly to prevent damage to the equipment.
