Not sure how to install it, but it was delivered in a timely manner
The first part received was not the correct one. I received shipping instructions but apparently the cost of shipping the return is for the customer to pay. I still have it. I re-ordered the part and the correct one was then received in a timely manner. Still have not heard from customer support what to do with the incorrect part.

How can this part be re-installed on top of the door? It doesn't slide in easily and seems at risk of breaking the small latches that hold in place.
For model number GDT720SGF0BB

Thank you for your inquiry. Before beginning any repair please unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet or turn off the power to it. You will need a quarter inch socket or nut driver to remove the screws securing the lower access panel. Remove the panel and any insulation that is present and determine if the water and power lines have enough slack to remove the dishwasher. If not you will need to shut off the water supply valve then use channel lock pliers to help unthread water supply line fitting from the inlet valve. At this point some water may come out. Use a nut driver to unthread then screws securing the junction box cover and pull the cover off. Note the location of the wires. Then untwist the wire nuts to disconnect the wires. Unthread the strained relief nut and detach the strained relief from the junction box. Disconnect the drain hose from the sink or garbage disposal and feed it through the cabinet. Open the dishwasher door and remove the mounting bracket screws. To move the dishwasher you may need to adjust the legs to move the dishwasher. To avoid damage carefully remove the dishwasher from the cabinet. Unhook both door cables from the hinges. Disconnect the door wire connector and a detach the wires from the retainer. Now open the door and lift up to remove it from the hinge supports. Please the door on padded surface like a blanket. Use the nut driver to remove the 2 lower screws securing the hinges and slide them out. Now remove the upper screws securing the inner door panel from the outer door panel. Slide the inner panel up to detach it. If still intact lift the old control cover up and push forward to remove. Install the new control cover by aligning the cover tabs with the slots on the inner panel then snap the cover into place. With the control cover installed realign t
