the dishwasher runs thru it's entire cycle but there is never any water present - I replaced the water inlet solenoid valve but it never get's actuated - hence no water flow at any time - is the next step the control bar (brain) in the top of the door? I'm currently taking the door apart to check for loose wires - please advise

Hello Dale, thank you for contacting us. Based on the description that you have provided, the issue is most probably with the control board. The control board comes along with the tactile control assembly kit, part number PS4704220. We would recommend replacing it to solve the problem. Glad to be of help!
