Hi - our display went out on our GE oven and none of the buttons respond to touch. We have reset the breaker and unplugged the unit with no change. I am assuming we need a new circuit/control board and are hoping you can provide a part number and supply the part? Thank you!!
For model number PS905DP2BB
Hi Jodi, thank you for asking. To fix the issue, you may need to replace the electronic oven control board, part number PS2370084. It monitors the oven temperature, controls the oven heating functions in the range, and includes a digital display for the time and temperature settings. We hope this helps!
Oven shut down due to overtemperature (code F2). Also, one surface element had erratic control.
Putting the faceplate graphics onto the oven control is tricky. Use the tabs on the bottom and one side of the control unit to line up the faceplate. Be careful because once the faceplate sticks it sticks. That was the hardest part of the repair process. Installing the oven control unit and the surface control unit was straight forward.
When you touched any button on the controls LOC on appeared.
Talked to parts select tech after ordering the control board. Tech advised me that he felt the range could be repaired without installing any parts. Advised me to contact manufacture tech support and explain the problem. I did to find that the child safety lock was on, probably from cleaning and touching too many buttons at once while whipping surface. Told me to hold down + and - at the same time for three seconds and it was fixed. Parts select tech had told me don’t worry the parts are guaranteed so I called for a RMA and returned the parts for a refund. Thanks Parts Select, y’all are real professionals and that is greatly appreciated. Thank you all.

Easy fix
The part was simple to replace. Only issue is that I had to remove/peel the faceplate from the control panel. This resulted in damage to the faceplate graphics and I had to order another one. If I had known this could/would have happened, I would have ordered both parts at the same time and saved shipping charges as well as wait time to complete repair.

GE electric range control panel
Received new panel in good time. removed wiring from old panel and added wiring to the new panel. New panel did not correct the problem. Called Part Select and they recommended that I change the temp sensor. New sensor arrived, installed and no improvement. Service from Part Select was great and have no problem with service. Attempting find solution over internet.
