Dispenser part #ps8722047 does not lock to hold the soap pod in place
I used the dishwasher 3 times only. First time it locked 2& 3 it would not lock.Is there a simple way to correct this?

Hello Josephine, thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the dispenser would have to be replaced. The clip that holds the dispenser closed has probably broken. Good luck with your repair.

The dispenser does not lock to hold the soap pod in place. Is it ok if it is just in the bottom of the machine? Is it normally on a timer?Don't think it needs to be replaced

Hello Josephine, Thank you for the question. If the pod is placed in the bottom of the tub, it will be washed away before the wash cycle can start during the fill cycle. The dispenser releases it at a certain time during the cycle after the tub fills and water is circulating in order for it to do its job, other wise the dishes will not be cleaned properly.
