When we open the dishwasher door, the front panel pulls out of place and a small plastic part from inside has broken off. This should not be happening

Can I replace part by myself
For model number SHE44CO5UC/22
Hello Barbara, thank you for your question. Yes, you can replace by your self. You will need to remove the screws from the inner panel on the door to get the outside panel to slide off. Then remove the screws from the back of the facia and unhook the inner unit from the facia. Carefully and mindfully remembering the placement of each, unhook the start button, handle and the other four buttons. Put the old parts on the new facia and then reverse steps. We hope this helps.
