Timer had stopped advancing.
Watched several YouTube videos on timer replacement. Although the specific model of my washer was not found, the general steps were sufficiently covered. Unplugged the washer from the electrical outlet. Unscrewed (ccw) the control knob. Removed the indicator plate and the control retainer piece. Removed the screws on the panel (that hold the timer in place). Removed 2 screws from end caps. Flipped up the control panel. Unplugged the timer unit. Installation was these steps performed in reverse. It was really easy!!

Washer would not wash on "normal" cycle. Had to play with the knob to get it to run at all. Washer would not drain properly either.
I unplugged the washer from the electrical outlet.

I then removed the drain hose from the wall drain to allow me to turn the washer to gain access to the the back panel.

From the front, I then removed the plastic timer knob from the timer by unscrewing it. Then I pulled the plastic plate with the arrow on it to remove it. This exposed the screws that attached the timer to the control panel. I left them attached.

I then removed the two screws on the bottom of the front of the control panel (on each end) that attach the control panel to the washer.

I then went to the rear of the washer and removed the two screws on the top of the rear of the control panel.

I went back to the front and pulled the control panel forward and up to release it from the washer.

I then removed the two screws (that were under the plastic plate) that attached the timer to the panel and removed the timer from the panel.

Then I unplugged the wiring harness from the timer and removed the timer completely.

From there I reversed the procedure to install the new timer and knob.

The machine stops after filling water
First I removed the two scews that hold the front panel in place. I then turned the knot counterclockwised to loosen it and I used the flat tip scew driver to pry the clear plastic ring that was underneath the knot. I then removed two screws that hold the timer to the panel. I then flip the panel to the other side to disconnect the connector to the timer. I then pluged in the new timer and reversed the sequence.

put on new timer washer works but do not complete a cycle and do not turn off
For model number 11092284100

Hi Michael, Thank you for your question. If your washer does not complete a cycle and it will not turn off, and you have just replaced the timer, check and make sure that it is connected correctly and test it with a multimeter for continuity to see if it functioning properly. If the timer is fine, you should also check the lid switch, the pump, the water level switch and the water pressure hose. We have included a link that you may reference for information on how to check these parts. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!
