Time display went out and could not set the oven.
Pulled the stove away from the wall and disconnect power source. Remove top back panel. Unscrew control board unplug wires remove the face on board. Place the face on new control board. And reverse the process. Very easy.

The stovetop works fine, but none of the oven control buttons work and the oven does not come on.

The top element in the oven turns on when on broil but does not turn on when pre heating. After the oven has been on for about 45 minutes the top element comes on for about a second or 2. Does this sound abnormal for this part? I'm thinking of changing it but want to be sure before i do.

Hello Paul, thank you for your question. The broil element on an electric stove will not come on right away when the unit is put on pre-heat. When the appliance is on the bake option, the broil element cycles on and off to provide top heat, to maintain the correct temperature in the oven. I hope this helps!

The oven temperature is consistently hotter than the temperature you set it at. I have put the oven rack all the way to the top and still everything burns on the bottom. We replaced the temperature probe and that didn’t take care of a problem. We have tried to calibrate the oven and that didn’t work. If we were to replace the clock memory board would that take care of the problem.

The display/oven function goes off intermittently and I can get it to go back on by smacking around the display panel only to have it go blank again later on. Once the display goes blank the oven function stops too. Husband checked wires for connection and verified they were hot. Is it safe to assume that the circuit panel is failing. Burners work to fine.

Oven panel needs replacing. Please tell me correct part number to order. Also, I understand that it does not come with the clear labeling. Is there a way to recycle the old one from the broken part?

Hello Paula, thank you for writing. We are not sure what you mean by clear labeling, however, we can confirm the part you indicated Electronic Control Board Number PS8689401. We also have the Overlay part PartSelect Number PS8692112. This is the part that you fingers touch when doing selections. It goes over the Electronica Control Board. We hope this helps.
I have replaced the Electronic Control Board a year ago, and now it isn't working again. The display starts blinking for no reason, no codes come up then it just stops working. What else could be the problem. I only use my oven 1-2 times per week.

Hello Wendi, thank you for reaching out. You could try to reset your range by turning it off for a few minutes and restarting it. You could also try to place a thin sheet of paper between the ribbon cables on the board, and push the paper down all the way to the plastic housing, fold over the edges around the cable so that the cables are not touching and there is no short circuit.
