Burner does not start on its own. (large burner) other burners start ok. This burner burns fine when lit by hand. We can see the spark when trying to light. Is this the part i should replace or could it be something else?
For model number FGFL79DQE

Hi David,
Thank you for your inquiry. It sounds like you will have to get the front burner igniter/orifice assembly- 14K with the spark electrode, part number PS899768. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Hi Robert,
Thank you for your question. The parts that you should look at would be your burner head, and your burner valve as well. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

It looks like this model did not come with burner drip pans standard. Are there drip pans that will fit this model's burner diameters? Has 1 power and 3 standard burners. I know of similar ranges, Kenmore for example, that do have drip pans.
For model number FGFL67DCF

Hello Charles,
Thanks for your question. We do not show any drip pans that are compatible with this model.
I hope this helps.

The burner would not light by itself, and the flame was lopsided.
The repair was nothing, but the diagnosis was a bit tricky. After carefully looking at the burner head, (cast aluminum) I pretty much figured out that the 4 small cast aluminum bumps that keep the burner cap positioned up in the air the correct amount to allow gas to flow under the cap, were worn down, preventing the gas from exiting properly by the igniter. My guess was correct. The new burner head solved all my problems. I love Parts Select for the ease of finding the correct parts and how fast they ship their orders. Great company, great service. Keep up the good work
