Control board--start switch ? Dryer won,t shut off unless i let door stay open about an inch. The control panel lights up perfect--everything works fine. The door switch on inside of door works so its on top of machine --the small panel--under it is a lot of switches.

Hello Wilma, Thank you for contacting us. I suggest checking the following parts: PS3529308 Door Switch, PS3530485 Thermal Fuse, and PS3529026 Thermistor,NTC. You can test the parts with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, we have videos available to assist you. Good luck with your repair!

Do i have to replace my control board cause the power button doesn't work? I have to turn it on by my circuit breaker. Everything else works on the board. Any suggestion would be of great help please.

Hello Jamie, thank you for your question. Yes, the control panel and touch pad assembly, PartSelect Number PS7788678 would have to be replaced. I hope this helps!
