This Frigidaire freezer door gasket in black is genuinely crafted by the renowned OEM parts manufacturer. As an essential appliance part, it effectively forms a seal around your freezer door, preventing the intrusion of warm air and potentially spoiling your food. To enhance your freezer's performance and extend its lifespan, this gasket plays a crucial role. Designed with meticulous precision, it may differ slightly in size and shape from other similar gaskets. Installation requires special care: smooth any folds and creases by soaking it in warm water or gently warming it with a low-heat hair dryer. Perfect for a range of Frigidaire, Electrolux, White Westinghouse, and Tappan models, this freezer door gasket provides a seamlessly cool solution for your refrigeration needs.

moved into a new home and the inside freezer was iceing next to the freezer gasket.
purchased a new freezer gasket. It is still iceing in the freezer but now all over the top part and down the back. The new gasket does not secure tight enough around the entire freezer door when it is closed. It is secured properly to the door but does not "grab" tight enough when the freezer door is closed.

Hello. My freezer gasket is ripped and not able to attach on the bottom of the freezer door any longer on that one particular side. Will this throw off the temperature in the freezer and the fridge, for the freezer isn’t freezing now, everything’s melted and water is running down into the fridge, causing the water to leak all over my kitchen floor and also, the bottom fridge is not cool anymore.
For model number fftr2021tb5
Hello Dominique, Thank you for the question. Yes, the gasket not sealing will allow warm air in and it will throw off the temperature sensors and cause it to stop cooling. We hope this helps!
