F7 error on GE double wall oven
For model number GE Oven JTP48BF4BB
Hi Eduardo,
Thank you for your question. The F7 error code indicates there may be an issue with the keypad. The buttons may be stuck or they were pressed down at the same time. Sometimes turning the power off to the oven for a few minutes will reset it. If resetting the oven does resolve the issue, you will need to clean the ribbon cable. Overtime a film will build up on it, preventing the oven from working correctly. You can use a pencil eraser to gently remove the film. If this does not resolve the issue, you will need to replace the control panel. Also, check the electronic control board for signs of damage, wear, scorching or burn marks. If it shows any of these signs, it will need to be replaced. If you have any questions, please let us know. We are open 7 days a week. We look forward to hearing from you!
