The water line in the back is brittle and cracked. Can i cut off the bad piece and use 2 unions to repair?
For model number Zfsb23dnd

Hi Joe, thank you for your question. Yes you should be able to as long as you make the cuts as straight as you possibly can then you should be able to use unions instead. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Ice maker works but no water can be dispensed.
For model number GSH25JGDBCC

Hello Delores, Thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend checking the following parts to fix your issue: dual water inlet valve, dispenser solenoid assembly, dispenser micro switch, water filter housing with tubing, union connector and make sure that none of the tubes are frozen, cracked or clogged. Hope this helps!

How can the union connector part # wr02x11330 stop water flow to the door of the frig.Doesn't it just connect the two water lines with no blockage of any type. you say this part might be my problem to no water at the door but before i purchase it from you i would like to know your thoughts. thanks
For model number GSS20GSDBSS

Hello William, Thank you for the question. If the Union Connector is damaged and cutting off flow, clogged or defective, it could prevent the water from being transferred. If there is no visible dame or wear then the union is fine. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!

Water Leaking @ Quick Releases (Blue and White)
Had previously replace the plastic Water Tank, but when installing it I didn't realize how the quick connects worked. Instead of simply pushing inward in the direction of the blue part of the disconnect, I had pulled out the white ring on the outside of the disconnects. This ruined the inside connections and caused them to leak thus requiring these repairs. Had I known that I wouldnt have bought these parts too. Just Always REMEMBER to push in outside white ring on the quick disconnect and as you push it in pull out the hose when you remove it. To put the hose back in, just push it back in without pushing on ring this time at all and it will lock in place, and shouldn't be leaking. I had to run water into a glass to test if it was leaking, otherwise the line had no water pressure.

Water dispenser leaked - tubing broke
Ordered parts from another vendor - got wrong parts (1/4 in parts instead of 5/16 in parts). With your parts, I just cut out the bad portion of the tubing, and replaced it using the 2 union connectors. Thanks.

My 13 yr grandson assisted me on this
We couldn't get the other connector loose from one end of the tubing so he said just cut it and so we did and attached the connector. I now have water again in my fridge and took the sticky note down "don't use the water" as it had leaked for a year...... Thanks!

Leaky water line to water dispenser
This part (plastic tubing) does not show up under my model of refrig...so I had to look thru the various water lines and pick the one that "looked" right. Luckily, this is the exact replacement part and works perfectly. I removed the lower back panel from the fridge, removed the bracket holding the water line connectors and pressed the outer ring of the coupler up until it released the old water line. I pushed in the new line, made sure it was snug with a gentle pull and ran the line under the fridge up to the existing coupler. I removed the old line from the existing coupler under the front left of the freezer door, and pushed in the new line. I did not need to use the new coupler. If my old line would not have been so brittle and cracked in several places, I could have just cut out the leaking portion and popped the new couple in to mend the line back together. Easy job and we can stop buying bottled water at the store now!

Dispenser flap for ice not closing. no water from dispenser was coming out.
Water line 5/16inch was severed, under refrigerator. Used union connector to join line. Dispenser plate removed using allen key to unsnap plate ,from under the plate itself. Removed screws holding solenoid valve and removed the plug from circuit board connected to solenoid. Installed new solenoid valve. Put flapper back in place, and made sure spring on left side of flapper is reattached to the opening on the flapper. This corrected all problems. Caution, keep an eye on spring that it remains in place.

Plastic water line leaking
Removed the bottom front cover, under the two doors, unclipped the water line to have better access, removed old Union connector, cut about a 1/4' off each side of the line, pushed both sides of line in Union Connector, checked for leaks, all done.
