Removed 4 screws from back of top control panel. Positioned electrical panel assembly to reference position of pressure switch mounting. Removed plastic hose from old switch via twisting and carefully pulling off. Removed screw from pressure switch mounting bracket and and from pressure switch body. Lifted switch up from mounting. Usin ... Read more g needle-nose pliers, removed the three connectors from the pressure switch. Installed the three wire terminals to new switch. Installed mounting bracket to switch body(used a new screw) and bracket to panel . Replaced plastic hose on new switch, tilted electrical panel into position and reinstalled 4 screws to back. Total time approximately 20 minutes. Saved $303.28 versus quotation from G.E. Service Tech for parts and labor!!

I replaced the water valve that the hot and cold hoses hook up to, and the pressure switch which regulates the amount of water that fills the tub.
