The fridge side is freezing food like a gallon of milk will this part fix that problem?
For model number FRS26BH6CS0
Hi Frank,
Thank you for your question. It could be this part. You may also want to check your defrost thermostat and your evaporator fan motor. If all three of these parts are working fine on your appliance you might have to look at your adaptive defrost control board. Good luck with your repair.

The fresh food section is running at 50 degrees after the baffle control was replaced. I have been told this is the part i need. Please advise i need a second opinion.
For model number FRS26KF7AQ5
Hi Mark,
Thank you for your question. if the refrigerator section is too warm, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which ones are causing the issue. You will need to check the evaporator fan motor, the defrost thermostat, the run capacitor, the adaptive defrost control board, the condenser fan motor and the start device. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

It looks like i have to remove the damper assembly to install the temperature sensor for the thermostat (240383703). How do i do this? Do i also have to remove the damper motor to get this done? I'm referring to the sensor that wraps around the vent opening. Thanks!
