Green light stays on after wash in order to get machine to start next load must reset breaker then it will start...

When turning on the dishwasher, the green light blinks, I relatch the door the light continues to blink. I cancel the wash, start over with the door securely latched and the green light continues to blink but the washer continues to be non functional. Other than the blinking light. Oh, and the function lights function as normal while I am doing all of this.

Hello Greg, Thank you for the question. The green light flashes when the control board is not detecting the door switch making contact when the door is shut. If the Door is level and closing properly, you may have a defective Switch in the Door Latch and the Latch will need to be replaced. We hope this helps!

My dishwasher is stuck on the clean stage of the cycle. I was wondering if replacing the latch assembly would help solve that problem. There has always been issues with starting the wash cycle, for several years, i would have to open and close the door and turn the knob a few times then press start and repeat until it finally engaged. Now it's just stuck on clean.

You will need to check the control board with selector, the door latch and handle assembly, the door strike, the lower spray arm with shield, the motor pump, the water inlet valve. I hope this helps. My dishwasher will not come on. Could this latch be the trouble? I know that the current is getting to the board. The black is hot and the white is not. The wire going into the board is hot. I cannot find the model number to this dishwasher anywhere on the unit. Have no idea where it could be or where it went but it's not on or inside the door or the body of the unit, but this latch is an exact match.

The lights on the control panel were on permanently, machine did not start - dead.
I removed the interior plastic covers 2 + 6 screws. Disconnected the latch/ with switch, unscrewed the two screws holding the latch, did the same in the reverse with the new/ latch switch. Before the work tripped the circuit breaker. Used Philips and Star tipped screw drivers.
