If i purchas the assembly cooktop for my samsing range is it hard to install Samsung range fe710drs
For model number fe710drs
Hello, thank you for your inquiry! To replace the cook top, you will need to begin by removing the back panel. There are screws going around the perimeter. Once this is done, you lift up to pull it out, and repeat the process with the top panel. You will then need to remove the screw that holds in the ground wire, then unplug the main molex, remove the strain relief and slide them in. You will then need to disconnect the molex's on the other side and slide them through as well. You can then move to the front and remove the screws that will be under the lip when you open the oven door. With the screws removed, lift up and pull out on your cooktop, and you will have it removed. You will need to transfer the elements to the new cooktop, and then revert the process to put the new cooktop in. We hope this helps!
