This heating element, used in any range/oven, is an open-style bake element. It is placed at the bottom of the oven and supplies heat. If your baking element does not supply consistent heat or is burnt out, then replacing the element is the solution to this problem. This heating element is a 19-1/4 inches wide by 15 inches long. The push-on male spade terminals are 13-3/4 inches apart. The tools needed for this replacement are: a screwdriver and needle-nose pliers. The first step in is to unplug the range or shut off the house circuit breaker before starting. Unscrew the back of the oven cavity to pull out wires from the defective element. Reconnect wires to the new element and screw it back.

Bake element went back in very easy. However still wouldn't work. Called repairman and computer chip was shorted out as well. Additional $250.00 later stove works.

Baking element cracked
Removed the baking element with a nutdriver. Slid it to the front of oven and removed the contacts on the back side. Installed the new element and installed the contacts at back of element. Slid it in the holes on back inside of oven and used a nutdriver to install the screws. It was very simple to do.

Burned out baking heating element in oven
Removed element by loosening two screws, disconnected heater element and connected new element and reattached to oven wall. Turn on oven to check for heater to work. Confirmed heater worked. Repair complete.

installed terminal block kits and burners worked great
I pulled out the stove from the wall and unplugged it. I then used a socket set with a long extension which made it easier to reach the rear wall of the stove. After removing the screws i gentle pulled the element forward and exposed the clips and wires. I removed the clips. The wires seemed to want to slip back into the hole so I used cl
