Product Description

Broil Element Specifications

This oven broil element is a high-performance heating component designed to deliver intense, direct heat from the top of the oven cavity. Measuring approximately 12 ½ inches by 18 ½ inches, it operates at 3000 watts and 240 volts, making it suitable for broiling and contributing to certain baking functions. Positioned at the top interior of the oven, it ensures even heat distribution for optimal cooking results. This element is commonly used as a replacement in electric ranges experiencing reduced or no heat during broil or bake cycles. Installation typically involves disconnecting power, removing the old element, and securing the new one using existing mounting brackets and electrical connectors. It is compatible with a variety of household ranges and is engineered for durability and consistent performance.

Electrical connection pulled off the element
When I pulled the element out of the back panel of the oven to remove it, the electrical connection got caught on the edge of the hole in the panel and disappeared back into the oven insulation. It was difficult to find and pull it back out to reinstall it on the new element.

Broiler broke apart in pieces. Also we found an round honeycomb part
in the bottom of the oven when I was looking to see what was going on. My husband did the repair just as the video described. I suspect this part honeycomb round maybe ceramic piece goes over where the heat is vented from the oven. Where do I get another one of these and how does it attach in the oven-under the burner. HELP I tried to look on the schematics and did not see anything. The repair went fine, except when we turned everything back on it did not work. Then my husband remembered he forgot to plug the new part IN. Once plugged in it is working fine. Thanks

Bottom elerment burnt into
First i removed the two screws that hold the element
in place. I the pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnect the 2 wires. The new one didn't come with the little holders at the front of the element and were very hard to get loose from the old element .i finally got them back on the new one and put it back in the stove. Pretty simple job though.
