This chrome drip bowl is designed for use with electric cooktops and ranges. This drip bowl is sold individually. At the widest point this part has a diameter of approximately 10 inches. It sits beneath the surface burner element. It catches any drips or spills coming from the cookware on your burner. Because the cooktop is a high-traffic area of the kitchen, these bowls often get damaged, or get so dirty they can no longer be adequately cleaned. When replacing this part you need to remove the burner element. While you have it out we recommend inspecting the terminals and the element for any corrosion, arcing, or discoloration. Any of those things could be a sign of a bigger problem, and it indicates that the element and terminal block should be replaced.

The drip pan I’m replacing is just over nine inches in diameter. How do I know this is the pan I need. It says eight inches but mine is more like nine.
Hello Rosine, if you supply us with your model number we can ensure you are ordering the correct drip bowl. I will note that the drip bowl itself is not eight inches, it is designed to work with an eight inch burner element. I hope this helps!

How do I take the element off to replace the drop pan?
Hi Briella, great question! Before you start this repair unplug your range and let your elements cool off. To remove the element, lift it up and gently pull it out of the terminal block. Once the element is safely out of the way you can remove the old drip bowl and simply drop the new one into place. Good luck with your repair.

How do I know when my drip pans are beyond cleaning and just need to be replaced?
Hi Ivan, thanks for your question. We recommend replacing drip bowls if they are dented or damaged. If you have tried to clean them but cannot seem to get all of the dirt and residue off you should also consider replacing them. I hope this helps.

When I typed in my model number it came back as being a Frigidaire. My stove is a White Westinghouse. I am just looking for the proper drip pans. Can you help?

Hello Wendy,
Thanks for your question. White Westinghouse is owned by Frigidaire now, so these parts are compatible with your White Westinghouse. Part number PS459618 is the 6-inch drip pan and part number PS459618 is the 8-inch drip pan.
I hope this helps.
I had used generic drip pans that did not fit right
Ever since we moved to this house I had used generic or standard drip pans found in any store. Needles to say they never fit properly so I always ended up with some burners tilting so my food would not cook evenly Until I decided to search for stove specific drip pans and this is how I bumped into your site. I am so happy now I can use all four burners at the same time if I wanted to, and my food cooks evenly since the burners are not tilting.
I simply removed the old drip pans and inserted the new ones which matched and fit perfectly. I'm glad I found you on line. Your service was fast and the whole transaction was easy!! Thanks.
The range, (1988 Tappan) was givin to the church by one of our members. While using it, --after a period of time-- the wire burnt off to one of the burners. Since the couple gave us a brand new top for the stove that was still in the box, we decided to fix the stove up. Now, with new wiring to all four burners, new shiney drip pans and,,,,a new top, we have a very new looking stove for in our church kitchen. The parts I ordered from PartsSelect, came in just a few days of placing the order, This is one site that I have wrote down in my address book for any future parts to items we may need.
Pulled the heating elements out took the bowels out that didn’t fit, threw them away and replaced them with the perfectly fitting bowels from this site and replaced the heating elements.
our rental stove needed new drip bowls and heat elements
i at first had a hard time finding the model # on this older electric stove. i did a chat with a rep from partselect.com and they sent me a web site that showed me where to look for it. that helped a lot. found it and searched on partselect.com . they had just what was needed. the purchase was easy and shipping was fast. i was worried it was going to be time consuming finding what i needed, not true once i found their web site. also, installation was easy.
Make sure whichever surface element you are to replace is OFF.Carefully remove surface element by pulling it out of socket and remove drip bowl. Cleaned area around range top and place new or old drip bowl in place. Line up drip bowl cutouts and place on range top and simply push in/plug (2 prongs)in new surface element and place on drip bowl. It's that easy! To install 2 new surface elements and drip bowls took less than 5 minutes.
Couldn't find replacement trays locally. Part Select was very helpful and prompt in shipping.
Just placed the chrome bowl trays in place and was good to go. They look very nice.

Pots wouldn't sit right on burners
I bought a used stove to do canning on but noticed the canner didnt seem to sit right on the burner. After looking up the model & looking at the photo of the correct drip pan, I realized that the previous owners had replaced the original drip pans with cheap ones. So ordered these & problem solved!

Perfect Fit
Ordered for Kenmore cooktop & these are a perfect fit for the big burners! Aftermarket burner pans at retail stores just never fit correctly: too big or too small or the burner element wouldn't rest evenly. Not the case with these! Product shipped as advertised & arrived in excellent condition in well-packed box.

Part was a perfect fit in my older appliance.
There was shipping damage on the initial shipment. One phone call to the customer service department and a replacement was on the way with no argument. Part was perfect replacement for my older, out of production appliance. Thanks!
