This heather sheath, commonly referred to as a broiler heating element, is designed for Samsung ovens. It is a coiled wire that is responsible for producing the heat in the oven. It fits on the bottom panel of the oven. Over time the element may fail due to normal aging or due to excessive build-up from food spillages in the oven. If the element is damaged your oven will likely be unable to produce heat or to maintain consistent heat to cook your food. It is important to ensure that the appliance is switched off and completely cool before beginning this repair.

Great Part.....Turtle Shipping
Part was received in perfect condition, installed, & functioning to OEM specs. PartSelect did their job well.....shipping by FedEx was another story! 2nd day business ($24.99) arrived five days later. Again PartSelect was great. They refunded the entire shipping cost no questions asked. Will definitely use PartSelect again, but will ship by some other means. Five stars for PartsSelect and one star for FedEx.

Samsung model ne594r0absr oven takes over an hour and a half to get to 350 degrees. Need to know what part number to buy for thermostat and/or element. Thank you
For model number NE594R0ABSR
Hello Mary, Thank you for the question. I suggest testing the Sensor, PartSelect Number PS4240743. Testing the temperature sensor probe on your oven is easy. With the sensor at room temperature, measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read approximately 1080 – 1090 ohms at room temperature. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!

Black smoke came thru stovetop vents on last usage. Now oven will only heat to 318 and broiler does not work at all. Will this be an element replacement?
For model number NE594ROABBB
Hello Carol, thank you for your question. If the oven is not heating up but the elements are working, the issue is most likely with the temperature sensor or the electronic board. We would recommend testing the sensor first, and if that part is fine, we would recommend replacing the board. I hope this helps!
