One of the dual burners on my glass top stays on high even when on low setting. Can I buy just the thermostat alone or have to buy the heating element too cause comes as one unit? Thanks George Hatch
For model number FTQ353IWUB
Hello George, Thank you for the question. This is normally caused by a faulty Switch that controls the element, PartSelect Number PS4240803. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
Recently replaced range glass top that was cracked after a bowl was dropped on it. The dual burner unit under area that was cracked now only heats up on outer area and not center area. Should I replace the burner?
For model number FE-R300SX
Hi Arnold, thank you for reaching out. The dual radiant element is probably faulty and you may need to replace it to fix the issue. Your model comes with two dual burners, part numbers PS4240827, and PS4240841. We hope this information helps! If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Thanks again for your great question.
