Product Description

Dual Element Switch Specifications

This is a dual element switch that is made for use within Samsung ranges. This switch is necessary to turn the heating elements on and off, and control how hot they get. Over time and with more frequent use, this element switch can fail, however, it can also break if it is damaged by a power surge or food contamination. To replace this switch, you will need a screwdriver to access it and a set of pliers to remove the wires connected to it. This switch is sold individually, so be sure to check how many switches are not working properly before ordering.

I have two front burners that only run on high heat. They don't regulate the temperature. What part do i need on my Samsung range?
For model number FER300SB
PartSelect logo
Hello ken, Thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend checking the following parts to fix your issue: Energy regulators-which are the switches for each element, the heating elements (which are listed as heater radiant dual) and the PCB assembly (main control board). You can test the parts with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, there are YouTube videos available to assist you. Hope this helps!

Both front dual burners are on high on all settings (1-10). The back burners are working fine. Can you help?
For model number FTQ353IWUW/XAA-0000

Hello Peter, Thanks for your question. This is likely due to the infinite switches. You will need two of part number PS4240803 to resolve this issue. I hope this helps.

Both front burners work, but they don't work on "low" setting and instead remain on and produce too much heat. I was thinking it might be the infinite switch but what are the chances that both switches went bad at the same time? Would the main board be the likely culprit in this scenario?
For model number FTQ353IWUX
PartSelect logo
Hi Juan, Thank you for your question. If the elements are getting to hot the issue is likely the switches. I would check them with a multimeter to verify which one is causing the issue. I would also check the wiring connected to them as well to see there is issue with that as well. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

The big burners aren't working properly they dont keep accurate heat . But they light up which element switch to order?
For model number Fer300sx
PartSelect logo
Hi Maurice, thank you for your question. There are a couple of parts that could cause this issue specifically. You will need a multi meter to be able to test the parts. The first part you will want to check is your radiant element. It should be reading between 0 - 120 ohms to be working correctly. The other part to check would be your infinite (or surface burner) switch. When you remove that part from the appliance, connect each probe from your multi meter to the prongs and then turn the switch to an on position. If you get no continuity then the switch is the issue. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

My bake nor broil elements in the oven will not work.
For model number FE710ZDRS/XAA
PartSelect logo
Hi Dan, thank you for your question. There are a few parts that could cause this issue in your appliance. First I would say test your elements with a multi meter to see if they are working correctly or not. They should be reading between 0 - 50 ohms to be working correctly. The other part you should check would be your oven temperature sensor. That can also be tested with a multi meter and should be reading between 1000 - 1100 ohms. If those three parts are fine however, then the issue may be in your control board. Good luck with your repair.

Saying error S.E
For model number FE710DRS
PartSelect logo
Hi Dan, Thank you for the question. The SE is the error code for a shorted key.Unplug the range. Open the control console and make sure that the wire harness is plugged into the oven electronic control board properly. Check the wire harness for damage. If the wire harness is okay, replace the control panel. If the problem persists, replace the electronic control board. Hope this helps!

1.The front large burner on the left no longer comes on. Rest of burners ok at the moment. Is the part for this work on either burner side or does each side have a different part #? 2. The digital display is slowly losing bars so the numbers do not fully display. Can this be corrected? 3.The hot light indicator red light sometimes stays on even it the stove is cool and oven not on. Other times it works correctly. How is this fixed?
For model number FCQ321HTUX
PartSelect logo
Hi Beth, Thank you for your questions. If the burner is not coming on, I would check both the burner and the burner switch to verify which part is causing the issue. If there are bars missing on the display you will need to replace the electronic control board. Also, if one of the indicator light is staying on when the burner is off, you may need to replace it, but I would check each of the burner switches first as they can also cause this issue. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
