With the sensor at room temperature, measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read approximately 1080 – 1090 ohms at room temperature. Hope this helps!

Hello Terry, thank you for your question. The SE code is in relation to a shorted, or stuck touch panel key. Open the control console and make sure that the wire harness is plugged into the oven electronic control board properly. Check the wire harness for damage. If the wire harness is okay, replace the control panel. If the problem persists, replace the electronic control board. I hope this helps!

We would recommend testing that for proper continuity with a multimeter. If that is testing properly, we recommend checking your elements to ensure there is no damage to them, as that can occasionally cause the part to malfunction and heat higher than intended. Hello Larry, thank you for your question. If the door will not unlock at the end of the clean cycle then you may have a problem with the oven temperature sensor. Most electronic control ovens will display a fault code to indicate that the sensor has failed. If you suspect that the sensor is at fault, you should first remove the power to the oven for a few moments and then reconnect. This may reset the control and allow you to unlock the door. If you still cannot unlock the door, then you can check the oven temperature sensor from the back of the unit. Remove power again and also remove the back panel. Locate the oven temperature sensor wire harness connector and unplug. You can check the resistance of the sensor with a multi-meter. If the sensor has failed, you can connect a new one to the harness connector temporarily, reconnect power and operate the door unlock function. With the door open you can then replace the sensor. If the sensor is tested and is not faulty, the issue is most likely the door lock mechanism itself. If you suspect that the door lock/motor assembly is at fault then you will need to unlock the door manually. The assembly is normally located between the main top and the oven and can only be accessed by raising the main top. This is very difficult to do because the screws that hold the top in place are inaccessible with the door closed. If the assembly cannot be accessed then you will have to form a wire hook,(coat hanger) and insert it between the door and the latch and manually pull the latch to the open position. Remove power to the oven before attempting this procedure and be careful not to damage the finish. I hope this information helps. Good luck with your repair!

Hello Chris, thank you for your question. A few things could cause this issue. A malfunctioning flame sensor will not detect the flame, and so will not open the gas line to keep the burner going. A partial blockage in the gas line may allow the burner to light but will not provide enough fuel to keep it lit. Also, if your pressure switch detects that your system venting pressure is off, it will shut down your heating system to prevent it from venting poisonous gas into your home.
