Is this the one with the black wires on the right or the one with the smaller red wires on the left?
For model number SMH1622S
Hello Cris,
Thanks for your question. We are not showing the wiring information online; however, this part should only be installed by a licensed technician as your microwave's parts can contain electrical charges even when the unit is unplugged.
I hope this helps.

My microwave does not power up as if it is unplugged. I have tested the power outlets and have 120v at the outlets. The microwave had never had any trouble before. Where to begin with troubleshooting?
For model number mmv5201dw00
Hello Joseph,
Thanks for your question. The following parts should only be installed or tested by a licensed technician, because your microwave can contain electrical charges even when unplugged. You will want the thermostat, capacitor, and door switch tested by the technician, and replaced if necessary.
I hope this helps.
My microwave popped and lost display, no lights, like theres no power. There is 120v on outlet.I tested the the two fuses on top. I tested the door switches and all are working. I tested the thermo on top it showed open. I checked the two thermos below display. The one on right showed open and the one on left showed closed (just as i read on line it should be). I am at a loss where to turn to now
For model number ME18H704SFS
Hi John, I would first trying to unplug the microwave for 10 seconds and plugging it back in. If you are sure the unit is receiving power and have checked all the fuses including the ceramic Fuse near the power cord. It could also be the door switch or door latch not properly functioning. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!

Cut out and won't restart
For model number MMV5207BAQ
Hello Wendell, Thank you for the question. If it cut out and will not start but still powers on, we suggest testing the Door Switches. The Switches can be tested with a Multimeter to see fi they are reading NO or NC. It will have a marking on the switch to what it should read. We hope this helps!
I purchased DE47-20034A and it arrived today. Before I do anything, does this go and the board behind the number pad? If this is correct I should open the top vent and the the key pad module. Once this is done how do I install the new thermostat? Thanks!
For model number JMV9169BA
Hello Bob, Thank you for the question. The thermostat is located on the plate the Transformer is on near the Magnetron. We do not suggest doing the repair yourself if you are not familiar with microwave repair and how to discharge the transformer. It can hold a dangerous charge, even when unplugged for a period of time. You will need to open up the cabinet of the appliance to access the thermostat behind the control board. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!

There are two thermostats in the microwave. Your description does not distinguish between the two. Is the NT101 the high limit thermostat, or standard thermostat??? One may shut off the power, the other may turn on fans. I need to know which on is which. Maybe they are the same???
For model number UMV1152 CAW NT101

Is this thermostat N.O. or N.C. ?
For model number SMH9151W
Hello John, Thank you for your inquiry. We show that this high limit thermostat is normally open. It should test around 0 ohms if you are testing it with a multimeter. We hope this helps.

I asked previously if this thermostat was Normally open or normally closed. Your answer was confusing. You said it was normally open and should read near zero ohms. But a normally open switch should read OL (near infinite ohms) on a multi meter. So it cannot be both N.O and read near zero ohms. I think that it should be normally closed and read near zero ohms. Is that the case?
For model number SMH9151W
Hi John,
Thank you for your question. This thermostat is normally open at room temperature and closes when it gets hot. When testing this part with a multimeter, if you get a reading of 0 ohms, it has continuity. If the meter does not move or does not change significantly there is no continuity and it will need to be replaced. We hope this helps!

What cause microwave to blow fuse every time it’s used
For model number Vmv1152cab
Hello Will, thank you for your question. A faulty Micro Switch or misaligned Door can cause the Fuse to blow. The replacement Micro Switch for your model is part number PS11741686. It is also possible that the Ventilation Motor may have failed causing overheating and damaging the Fuse. The replacement Ventilation Motor for your model is part number PS4223855. Good luck with your repair!

Microwave repair
I wish my microwave was working. Received the part but must not have been the problem. Think it is possibly the door switch but didn't have time to check it out because we left for the winter. Will pursue it in the spring! Thanks. We do appreciate doing business with you!
