WHY DOES THE DISHWASHER MAKE A HUMMING SOUND WHEN IN USE
For model number DMT800RHS/XAA

Hello Pete, Thank you for your inquiry. This can be caused by the motor or sump, the impeller grinding up food waste or the vent fan motor running. It can also be caused by the solenoids of the water inlet valve getting stuck while in use, so you can test the valve with a multimeter to make sure it is not faulty. We hope this helps.
