The drum support roller and axle, which includes the roller shaft and mounting clips, is used in dryers. This part holds the drum as it rotates on the support wheels. When the roller begins to wear out, it self lubricates, so no additional grease is needed. If your dryer is making odd noises then checking and replacing the rollers can be the solution to your problem. Make sure to unplug the dryer from the power source before beginning this replacement. Refer to the diagram and installation instructions provided by manufacturer. Sold individually.

Easy fix, no problem
Replaced all 4 rollers. Found 3 of the 4 had issues with bearings worn out. One could have continued, but with dryer torn apart, might as well do them all.
I made sure to spray Fluid Film on the axle and bearing to help the new ones last longer.

dryer roller repair
The part I received was the correct part. The customer service on the phone was helpful in assisting me in identifying the part I needed so I could place the order quickly. It took a few days to arrive which I wish would have been quicker but, I got it, the dryer is fixed, for now so all is good. That is the only reason for 4 stars and not 5.
PartSelect has helped us in the past. They are reliable and show good customer service.

Overpriced!!!
When I was searching for this part I went with the consumer who delivered on time. Of course I should have ordered from another site because this same exact $40 wheel was $15 on another site!! Stupid mistake on my end for trusting your company to be the most competitive retailer. Never again will I order from your company. Good luck if people actually research companies and not buy into your gimmick.

Hello Michael, Thank you for the review. Sorry to hear you are not happy with our price. Although the other large online site may have been cheaper you are not guaranteed it is a OEM part or have a 1 year warranty. You are also risking the parts being used. All the part we sell are Brand new OEM parts with the warranty. We base our prices on what we are charged by the manufacturer for the parts. We try to keep our prices as low as possible but do also have to keep them at a level to help cover our costs. We hope this helps to explain the reasoning behind the prices!

Loud noise like boots being ran through the dryer
YouTube, YouTube, YouTube. I YouTubed many videos on how to take a dryer apart to reach the drum support roller and axle. After watching numerous videos, I settled on one that had my exact model of dryer. For my dryer, previous inputs said I needed two rollers to for my model. That is not the case. My model actually has 4 rollers, 2 in th
... Read moree front and two in the back. I ordered 2 initially but only needed 1 thankfully since only one roller was bad. Keep it simple stupid is how I got it done. Dryer's are pretty simple machines mechanically. Don't trash your noisy dryer. We bought ours in 2014 and it only recently started giving us issues. This is after 2 moves and being run daily for a family of 6. I'm glad I found partselect.com. They saved me a ton of money.

What part would be needed to replace the back wheels? It seems like back wheel where the drum sits has a dent, and the dryer is making a lot of noise. The front wheels appear to be in very good shape.
For model number DV48J7700EW
Hi Jillian,
Thank you for your question. This would be the correct wheel that you are looking for. You would need to order two to replace both wheels. Good luck with your repair.

How many rollers are there on a Samsung dryer
Hello Jackie, thank you for your question. Most dryers require four drum rollers, but you should always confirm using your dryer's model number. It is recommended to check and replace all drum support rollers at the same time to ensure proper drum rotation and because they often wear at the same rate. Good luck with your repair.
