I do not see just the heating element for my Samsung dryer model dv2c6bew/xaa. It has stopped heating again. I changed the thermistor about 3 years ago. Could it be the same problem? Can i change the heating element from the heating duct?

Hi Tammy, thank you for your question. This part that you are questioning on is your heating element. Looking at your model information there are a few parts that you should take out and test to see which one is giving you the issue. The first parts to check in this case would be all of your thermostats and thermal fuses. You can test those parts with a multi meter and they should be reading 0 ohms to be working correctly. If those parts are fine, you should then go on to testing your heating element as well. You can also test that with a multi meter and it should be reading between 0 - 50 ohms. Something else you should also check would be your filter and ducts. Make sure there is absolutely no blockage that would restrict air flow in your appliance. I hope that helps. Hello, i am replacing my Samsung heating element and i noticed my wiring is different from the instructional videos. I’m wondering if my wiring when installed was installed wrong. I see one red and blue wire and two back and two blue wires. In the video the red is closer to the dryer and the blue is further away and then the black wire in the thermostat is black wire closet to the dryer and blue further away and the thermo fuse blue closet to dryer and black further away! Mine is the the opposite? Should i install my new heating element with the wiring in the same way as the instructional video? My model is d42h5000ew/as. Please help. Thank you.

Dryer would not run, changed thermistor and thermal fuse in exhaust duct, will run now but not heat,also light stay's on that say's cooling.
