Will this part stop the leak from under the front area of machine?

Hello Joann, Thank you for your inquiry. We have researched the model number you have provided and show that this part is the housing to allow you to access the drain pump filter for cleaning. It is usually not one of the recommended parts to fix your issue, we would recommend checking the drain pump, the door boot seal, and the hoses. Good luck with your repair.
