This knob works (better than using pliers to turn the dial to set drying time) but it doesn't seat flush. It protrudes a good 1/2 inch from the dryer's housing. A less-than perfect fit is not ideal given the $30+ price tag. But due to reasons of function over form, I gave this three stars. And the installation was a snap, but I expected that much. In a word, "meh."

Replacement ofheating element
I unattached the old broken element and then re-attached the new. I am 56 years old and have never done this type of repair. I found a YouTube video and followed the directions and it made the repair very simple.

The knob had become unable to turn on the dryer
After waiting for a repair man to deliever the part over 1 month I finally went on line and ordered thru your company and the part was here in less then 3 days. It took about 5 second to if that long and the dryer is working well. Now all I have to do is get a refund fromn the repair man.
