This blower wheel is a genuine OEM replacement part for your dryer. The wheel can become damaged through use of the dryer, especially if the drive motor shaft, which it is attached to, becomes damaged. This repair will require some disassembly of the dryer. Hi folks, is this the only part that would need to be replaced on a dryer that does not heat?Everything else, including the Flame, seems to be working fine.
For model number FLXG52RBS7
Hi Michael, Thank you for the question. If the thermostats and fuses on the element housing and blower wheel housing have been tested as well as the element and they have tested to be good you may also want to check the timer. The Timer tells the element when to heat up. If the blower wheel was defective then the appliance would still get hot but the air would not flow through the dryer so it will not dry properly and the appliance may over heat. Hope this helps!

dryer squeeked and rattled
after removing the panel covering the dryer blower and removing the blower cover, i pulled the old blower wheel off and placed the new whell on carefully lining the flat edge of the wheel hole up with the flat edge on the blower piston, the n i placed the clamp on and put back all the housing covers and panels...and now my dryer runs quiet and drys cloths fast....thanks to partselect!!!!
dryer was making terrible clunking noise when running
This is a stacker washer/dryer combination. Took off the back panel of the dryer, but found out the front needed to come off instead,to replace the blower wheel. This took more time than replacing the wheel. Was pretty easy to get to the wheel and replace. The center part had broken so replaced wheel and clamp. The push in fastner was broke, which held in the lint screen part. Was easy to install this. Dryer sounds as good as it did when it was new. It was very easy to find the correct part and shipping was overnight! Great service.
