Cycling Thermostat - 4 Terminal Specifications
This operating or cycling thermostat is used in dryers to monitor and direct the temperature inside the dryer. If your thermostat is shorted out and it will not allow the heat to come on, it is best to replace it. The tool needed for this repair is a 1/4 inch nut driver. The first step for this repair is to access the back panel and remove the screws. Next, remove wires connected to the thermostat and remove the screw to pull out the thermostat. Now you can install new thermostat. For further installation instructions, refer to the diagram provided by the manufacturer. As a safety precaution, remember to unplug your appliance from the power source before starting this repair.

My dryer produces heat but after 2 mins shuts off sometimes takes a few mins for it to run again i was wondering what part might i need

Hi Nikki,
Thank you for your inquiry. Where your dryer is shutting off too soon, there are a few parts you will have to look at. Some parts that may fix the issue are the push to start switch, the timer, the thermostats, the fuse if present and the heating element. To verify which part is causing the issue you will need to use a multimeter. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

squeeking/ grinding really bad
First I pryed up the top cover then opened the access cover on the rear to remove the belt from the drum. Next I removed the front of the dryer to have access to remove the drum. I then removed the 3 screws that hold the drum to the rear drum bearing assembly and pulled the drum through the front of the dryer. I then removed the bearing and proceded to remove the ground ball and reassembled in reverse steps.
