We had a power surge on a 3 year old fridge. I'm assuming it is the main pcb that needs to be replaced. It has no power. What part do you recommend?
For model number Rf260beaesr
Hi Marisella, thank you for the question. First, you should check the circuit breaker for the house and the power supply at the outlet. If there is no issue, then you may need to check the refrigerator power control board, part number PS4168057. If it is not faulty, then you will need to check the LED display board, part number PS4167979. If it is faulty, then you may need to replace it. We hope this helps!
power outage last friday, error code 33 e ice maker stopped working and no combination of button pushing seems to reset. the actual error code refers to ice tube heating element, however seems like the surge may have damaged the board? What do you think?
