Wheel Assembly - Kit of 2 Specifications
This wheel assembly, or roller assembly, is for a trash compactor. The kit includes two wheels that are approximately 1 inch in diameter each. The wheels allow the trash compactor container to roll in and out of the appliance. You may have to replace the wheel assembly if the container does not roll smoothly. To access the existing wheel kit on your appliance, uninstall appliance from the cabinet, depress foot petal to lift the container off its track, and remove the container from the tracks. This kit is an OEM part sourced from the authentic manufacturer factory.

Trash bin would not roll out completely
-Removed the forward sliding rail screws...lifted the rails up several inches to access the wheel assembly...bent back the steel tab to access the nuts holding the wheels to the frame...replaced the wheels and bent back the steel tabs to original position. Trash bin now rolls out completely as before

Install NewDrive Gear Kit,( I also added,2 poor nuts and all 4 wheels)
My compactor is quite heavy, I moved it onto the kitchen floor unplugged and removed the cover plate from the bottom exposing the drive gears. The small (pinion ) gear was stripped as well as a section of the drive gear. I followed the video and removed the (fulthy) ram. The interior filth was so great I removed all parts to my garage and spent a lot of time cleaning them especially the ram.By the time my parts arrived, it was all clean and ready to go. I had also found that one of the power nuts was broken and had ordered new wheels and power nuts. Assembly was straight forward and it works like new now,

Compactor draw was not opening fully as the wheel bearings had seized
I followed the you tube video instructions provided by customer care. This involved pulling the unit free from the cabinet, removing several screws that held the housing in place, this gave access to the wheel assembly, then I removed the nuts that held the wheel assembly in place. Fitting the new wheel assemblies was easy as was replacing the housing screws. After reinserting the draw and pushing the unit back into the cabinet it worked like new

KENNETH S - August 27, 2022

Parts came, installed and everything is working like new
part was just like the part replaced and same quality.
Ken B - June 19, 2021

Not an easy repair, but the part fit properly, and was good quality. I do not understand why 2 extra wheels were include, and they were not the same quality as the parts ordered ( these were NOT ball bearing wheels)
The parts were good. Quality bearings were just like OEM wheels
Anthony C - December 2, 2020

Fits perfect
Wheels fit perfect on my 30 year old trash compactor.
Rick W - June 12, 2020

Just what I needed
Fixed problem of compacter not rolling out and in smoothly. Relatively easy job.
Robert W D - February 26, 2020

Did not fix issue
These wheels were tough to install since I could not remove the unit from the cabinet to get at the nots. Had to bend a flange for access, but got them installed. However, these new wheels did not solve my sticking problem. Had to place shims under the drawer to slightly raise it so the release finger was pushing at the appropriate location on the front wheel.
