My boiler only takes 30sec. To have gas turn on and ignite, but bake takes over 2min and 30sec to have gas turn on. Both igniters look to be the same brightness. Any suggestions?

My stand alone gas range operates on lp gas. Does this make a difference when ordering a replacement ignitor for the oven?

The igniter you show for this KitchenAid wall oven has a much shorter ceramic piece/bar than the igniter in my oven (total length is 5 1/4"). Will your short bar be ok in my wall oven or will your short bar cause your wires to be too exposed to the oven heat?

ignitor glowed but did not ignite
took oven base plate out. diconnected ignitor , put new clips on neutral wire as per instructions, inserted new ignitor, put everything back, worked ok.

Igniter turned red but oven would not light
Remove broiler pan, disconnect wires from igniter to gas safety valve and connection in back corner of stove, under a metal plate held in with one screw. Remove two screws holding igniter in and take it out. With new igniter, cut neutral wire as per instructions with it, attach electrical clips to the wire ends, install the new igniter with the two screws, plug in the two wire clips to the safety valve just below the igniter and plug in the plastic clip with both wires going into it over in the corner of the stove, and replace the cover over that connection with the one screw, which you removed at the beginning of this process, and you're done.

I made it harder than it needed to be
The part was an exact fit replacement, good condition and an easy fix, much to my wife’s disappointment, she was hoping to get a new stove. Tip for other customers, don’t be like me, open the drawer under your stove first to see if you can get to the wiring easily before trying to get to it through the inside of the stove.
