Door does not latch

Hello Gale, thank you for writing. For this symptom you will want to consider either the Lid Spring part PS11744874, the Door Latch Bolt part PS11741367, or the Door Switch Kit part PS358749 for your model. We hope this helps.

Parts 22 and 23 on the diagram / what does it attach to. I dont think my d washer has this. Does it help keep door shut tight. I replaced door latch and door does'nt become loose any more. Switches when hot shut off from some looseness ? Could be switches themselves which have springs in them or ?? this part 22 / 23 ?? what does it do. where does it specifically go. what is it for. ??

Is this the part i would order for a door gasket? We have water leaking, we think out the bottom of the door somewhere. Please advise. Thank you.

Hello Lora, thank you for your question. The door gasket for this unit is PartSelect Number: PS11755809. This goes around the opening to the tub, not the door itself. We would recommend checking this gasket as a worn door gasket can cause the door to leak. If the main door gasket is ok, the bottom door gasket is Part #: PS11747071 and is only available by ordering the inner door frame. I hope this helps!
