This compressor mounting kit is a set of components used to secure and support the compressor in refrigerators. The kit is supplied by the original manufacturer, and it includes 4 rubber grommets/bushings and 4 mounting screws. The rubber bushings function as buffers between the compressor and mounting brackets to reduce movement and noise from the appliance, and the mounting screws hold the compressor in place to provide additional stability. Over time it is normal for these components to wear down or become damaged or loose, leading to increased vibrations, excessive noise, and potential damage to the compressor and surrounding parts. Disconnect the power supply and remove the rear appliance cover to access the compressor unit. Remove the mounting screws and lift the compressor out of the refrigerator. Carefully remove the rubber bushings off the unit and press the new ones into place. Place the compressor back in the refrigerator and secure it with the new mounting screws. Reattach the rear cover to complete your repair.

My compressor has a lot of vibration. Are there rubber isolation feet i can replace?
For model number ET12LKRWW01
Hi Kevin,
Thank you for your question. If the compressor is vibrating, then one of the springs that secures the motor inside the compressor has broken. This is a common issue with refrigerator compressors and the only thing that will resolve the noise issue will be to replace the compressor. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My compressor bangs , boom boom boom, when it shuts off. What part and part number will I need to replace to stabilize it?
For model number 10670182000
Hi Deborah, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, we would recommend checking the refrigerant in the compressor, and that the compressor mounting kit, part number PS371837, is fixed properly. If this does not cause the issue, might be the compressor, part number PS2580802, is malfunctioning. You may need to replace it. We hope this sorts out your problem!
