This glass tray drive coupling, also known as a tray support, is a genuine OEM replacement part. It can help solve the issue of your microwave tray not turning properly. This motor couple connects the motor to the turntable. To replace this part, make sure the microwave is unplugged first. Remove the glass tray, and the existing coupling. Insert the new coupling into the motor shaft.

Brand new (open box) purchase from a local appliance liquidator had missing drive coupling. This part holds the glass plate in place and allows it to turn.
It was a very simple and easy fix, no tools needed. First, open the door to the microwave/oven and remove the glass plate and the plastic plate guide. Next, locate the whole in the center. Using your finger, find the drive coupling pin that sits just below the opening (half circle shape). Align the bottom of the drive coupling with the me

Rattling noise when turn table was in motion
Unplug any appliance before any work is done. The microwave is a hanging unit under kitchen cabinets. First I removed the turn table, rollers, and connector by lifting them out. Second I removed all the attaching Phillips head screws that hold the bottom cover on. Once removed the cover will hang and give access to the drive motor gear as

The support became distorted and needed to be replaced.
I simply lifted out the glass rotating plate and inserted the new support. How complicated can that be?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Turntable wobbles - it looks like the piece that holds the turntable is causing it to sit too high and not level. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
For model number KMHS120ESS
Hello Gerry, thank you for your inquiry. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend checking the glass tray support. If it is not faulty, then replace the drive coupling, part number PS3654579, to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
