Fixed "Click"
Our washer door lock would operate so many times before starting we named the washer "Click". This new switch went in in less than 20 minutes and fixed the problem. Perfect fit. We have had to change the washer's name to "One Click".

Does this part sense whether the lid is closed or not?
For model number WT1101CW
Hello Bert, thank you for writing. Yes, the Switch Assembly performs that function. This is not the replacement for your model though. For your model the replacement is part PS12589836. We hope this helps.

Will not run. Lid switch clicks several time and then get dl error code. Pulled red string in bottom of switch then it started. Do i need switch and sensor or just one? Ser#is 308pntf1k121. What part #'s do i need?
For model number Mod#wt1101cw
Hello Arvil, thank you for inquiring. The "DL" error code is indicating a faulty Door Lock Switch, part number PS12589836 for your model washer. Good luck with your repair!

Get a dl code sometimes. Will not start wash until reset
For model number WT1101CW
Hello Lex, Thank you for your inquiry. A DL error code indicates an issue with the lid switch or a communications error between the lid switch and the control board. You can test the lid switch with a multimeter to see if it is faulty. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, we have videos available to assist you. Check for any loose connections between the switch and the control board, and check for any visible damage to the board. Good luck with your repair.
