Hi, can you tell me how to remove screw 26 on the back of the water filter holder on this Frigidaire model GRSC2352AFO. Unlike the front screw it has no access port. This make it impossible to replace the water filter based that is leaking. Thanks
For model number GRSC2352AFO
Hello John, thank you for getting in touch. To remove the filter base, follow the following steps. These steps may not be of exact model but will help you with the process. Unplug the power cord. Push the end of the water filter in to detach the filter from the housing. Use a screwdriver to help pry off the filter housing cover. Unthread the screws securing the lower filter housing. Slide the lower filter housing forward to remove. Note the orientation of the water filter input and output tubes. Use a small wrench to depress the locking rings to release the tubes from the ports. Unthread the screws securing the upper housing to remove the housing. Unthread the mounting screws securing the filter base to the housing. Remove the old filter base. To install the new water filter base, follow the same procedure backward. Glad to be of help!
