Install aftermarket side vent kit
I did as I was told (by my wife). Bought the machine from Home Depot - no side vent kit - had them complete the installation today when the kit came.

Thank you for your response. Just to clarify, you are saying there is a knock-out plug located in the center of this dryer model? It needs to be in center to fit the existing vent hole in floor. The installer seemed to believe there is only one bottom vent hole (located at the rear bottom). Thanks again!

Thanks for your question. Your model by default vents to the rear, but can be configured to vent from the bottom or left side with the venting kit. There will be a knockout plug at the bottom as well.

our current LG dryer is stacked on top of a LG washer. We are moving both to a new location. we would like to side vent the dryer from the right (not left) side as opposed to venting from the rear as it now does. Is this the right part to accomplish the desired side venting? thank you, Russ

Does the side venting kit work on both sides of the dryer? It appears the side that I need the venting, has a gas line and it’s way.

Does this model have a knockout plug in the bottom (center) of the dryer in addition to the bottom vent hole positioned at the back? My current install uses the bottom vent hole from the center of the dryer. Also, do I need part # PS3575086 to install bottom vent?
