Washing machine will not drain. We have already put in new pump. What does this sensor do or what other part could it be. Machine runs normal just won't drain. Thanks

My LG washing machine on the bulky/bedding cycle just keeps filling the tub with water regardless of how small the load is, and will overflow at times, what part needs replacing to ensure the water stops at the appropriate level. Thanks for your assistance.

Washer is getting an OE code at last 12 mins of wash and will not drain. Drain pump is working properly. The overflow sensor has no continuity while wet or not. Could this cause this issue.
For model number 79629272001
Hello Jason, Thank you for the question. The most common cause for the OE Error Code is a clogged filter or drain hose. We suggest checking for clogs that are slowing the water flow when draining. The water can still drain, just at a slower rate so it is not finished before the end of the cycle. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Water does not shut off. Continues to run. Flooded laundry room. Had to shut water off going to washer. The control panel was not lit up when this happened. Like to wash was complete.
For model number WT1701C
Hello Lisa, thank you for contacting us. The water inlet valve (part number: PS3527446) defect is mostly responsible for such overflows. It is the part that controls the flow of water to the washer. The second most probable cause can be the washer overfill sensor that turns off the flow automatically when the water splashes out of the tub. We hope this helps, please feel free to reach out to customer service if you need any help regarding the purchase or repair. Thank you!
