I am always extremely cautious of websites I haven't heard of, but gambled and ordered the part, mostly because it was cheaper than buying a new fridge...
Arrived very quickly, and was the exact part I needed, and most importantly my wife is happy!

Ice maker bail frozen. Chose to replace the entire assembly
Examined old ice maker. It is held by some Philips screws. There are many screws you don't need to unscrew so look carefully. Then disconnected th dual in line connector. There is a little push tab to squeeze to release. Then the ground is connected with a screw. It's a little hard to see but unscrew that. My replacement came with no
... Read more instructions or screws so try not to drop the screws down in the netherlands of the fridge. The hardest part was maneuvering the icemaker to reattach the power and ground. Even with that pretty straight forward replacement.

My LG fridge, i get water out of the water dispenser, but the water does not fill the ice maker. It's been intermittent, it works great for a few days, then stops filling water. I'm thinking it might be a moody solenoid valve? Is that what i need? Thank you
For model number LSC27950ST
Hello Mitchell, thank you for your question. It sounds like the issue is with the inlet water valve part number 5221JA2006D. The water valve brings water to the dispenser and the icemaker. It is possible that one side of the valve is working properly and the other is working intermittently. I would recommend replacing the water valve first to see if that fixes the issue! I hope this helps!

Water at the door dispenser the flow is weak, no pressure and the ice maker is not working.
For model number LMX25981ST
Hello Jose, Thank you for the question. This sounds like the Water Valve might be defective, PartSelect Number: PS3536019. The valve may not be opening enough to allow water to flow through to the ice maker and dispenser. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

Hi the ice maker is not refilling , it dispenses water. I turned off the icemaker and then turned it back on and it worked for a day. So i know it works just not sure which part isnt working right.
For model number LFX25975ST/01
Hi Suzanne, thank you for your question. There are two parts that you should check for this issue. The first part to test would be your water inlet valve. The valve has two solenoids that control either the dispenser or the ice maker. Even if your dispenser is working the ice maker solenoid may not be and vise versa. The valve can be tested with a multi meter and should be reading between 500 - 1500 ohms of resistance. If that part is testing correctly then you should look into your ice maker being the issue. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

The bail shut off arm in the ice maker does not rise.
For model number LFX25960TT
Hi Roger,
Thank you for your question. Try lifting the arm all the way into the locked position. Check the arm is supported on both ends. If it is not securely in place, the ice maker will not work correctly. If the arm continues not to work correctly, you will need to either replace it or the ice maker. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

For model number LFX25947SW/06
Hi Mike, thank you for getting in touch. We have researched the model and would suggest checking the ice maker and auger motor assembly, part number PS12715515. We hope this helps!
I just replaced the ice maker as the feeler arm would not go down. Once i changed the ice maker the same thing is happening. The ice maker makers ice cubes but won't dispense as the feeler arm stays up.

Hello Kim, thank you for inquiring. For this symptom you will want to replace either the Ice Bucket Assembly part PS3526348 or the Ice Chute Door part PS3525879. We hope this helps.

The ice maker arm stays up after the ice is dropped and the assembly refilled. After the water is frozen, another cycle will begin only after I push the arm down again. Can you tell me if this part AEQ36756901 properly fits this LG model?

I replaced the complete ice maker in the refrigerator. Un-plugged power from wall of the unit to reset. Will the metal arm automatically reset itself? In the box it is under the ice maker is this correct?
For model number AEQ36756901
Hi Keith, Thank you for the question. Sounds like you are referring to the bail shut off arm. The arm is pushed up as ice is made and falls when the ice is dropped. Hope this helps!
