For the last 3 weeks after using microwave the light stays on and the turntable spins until you open the door. Now when trying to use after you close the door and press start the light comes on but no heat and the table does not turn. Today i replaced the to door micro switch and now when you open the door the light comes on and the turntable spins and when you try to use it no heat and no spinning table

Hello Jeff, Thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend checking the following parts to fix your issue: diode, the thermal fuse the other micro switch, magnetron, and the high voltage transformer. You can test the parts with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, there are YouTube videos available to assist you. For safety reasons, since the microwave capacitor can still store electricity even when the microwave is unplugged, it is usually advised that you discharge the capacitor before any attempt at repair. There are videos on line to assist you. Hope this helps!

My turntable makes a squealing noise sometime when it's turning, is it the mortor or the coupling ???
For model number LMV1680ST
Hello Ruwerkin, Thank you for your question. In this case you will actually need to check both PS3522918 Turntable Motor Coupler and PS3529217 Motor, AC Synchronous as either one of these parts could be the issue. Good luck with your repair!

Turntable won't turn and does't heat food. Will replacing the motor, ac synchronous, most likely fix the problem?
For model number LMV1683ST
Hi Cindy,
Thank you for the great question. I am going to recommend you start with the Micro Switch. The function of this part is to monitor the door latch position and communicate to the electronic control board whether the latch is open or closed. If your microwave does not provide heat, or will not start the turn table, you may need to replace the micro-switch.
Hope this helps !
Hi, i put a heavy container to heat up and then the micro stop rotating and heating. Is the micro switch or the motor i need to replace it? If i buy and it is not the right part, can i exchange it? Tks.
For model number LMV1683ST
Hi Sisi,
Thank you for your question. It is possible that the heavy container you put in the microwave may have damaged the turntable motor. You will need to check the motor, the turntable motor coupler, the turntable assembly and the micro switch. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Was making a noise when turning around
I removed the bottom plate which had 9 screws. than unplug 2 wires to the motor and unscrewed 2 screws, replaced the old motor with the new one and also the coupler. and so far no noise. easy fix. Thanks
