This AC synchronous motor is a genuine OEM replacement part specially made for microwaves. It operates on an alternating current, and it is responsible for rotating the turntable to ensure even heating of your food. The motor can fail due to physical damage or malfunctioning internal components such as the bearings. If your turntable is not rotating, you will need to replace the motor. You can find it underneath the microwave cavity, near the center. Disconnect the microwave from the power source and remove the cover. Turn the microwave over and remove the bottom panel to access the motor. Disconnect the motor from its mounting location, and then insert the new motor in its place. Ensure the new motor is securely attached before reassembling the appliance.

Great Service
The Synchronous motor, for the turntable, on my microwave, was shot. I searched the internet, and found several websites, with the part . I compared pricing, and shipping cost per site. I chose PartSelect, which had the most economical part. The website, was very easy to navigate for the part. I especially like, the convenience of the product, diagram schematics, for location, and, parts identification. Very helpful diy, like me, when you don't know what your looking for to repair an appliance. I ordered the part, and it arrived when expected. The packaging was great, and securely wrapped in bubble wrap. Installed the part, and works, like a champ. I will definitely use PartSelect for future repairs. Also, I will, recommend PartSelect, to family, and friends. Thank you, for your quality parts, and service. Take care, FM.

Easy repair; part was simple to replace!
Got the synchronous motor to rotate the plate in my microwave oven. Pop out the sheet metal center on bottom. It was scored to pop off with a small effort. Unplug wires, mount motor with one screw and plug in wires. Much cheaper than a new microwave!

Kenmore microwave turntable motor and spindle
I ordered a turntable motor and a spindle for a Kenmore microwave; I was very satisfied with the customer service rep on the other end (this was on a weekend). Parts were shipped out the next day, I received them in three days as I was told I would. Perfect fit, perfect operation, wife is happy again. Great products at a very fair price - what more can you ask for? I am a very satisfied customer.

Turntable stopped turning
Removed micro bottom - 5 screws. One screw on the motor and a clip. Reversed the sequence, turned it on and watched it turn.

No rotation on the glass plate
Turned the microwave on its side. (Recommend turning it on its top. i had to fish the wire connection back to the center after it dropped away from the motor.) There is a spot under the rotation motor where an access port was stamped in the tin but not cut out. Used the small side cutter to complete the cut where tin had been left bet

The motor coil tested good, about 128 ohms, but it acted like there was a stripped gear inside. I wasn't interested enough to try to open the motor and confirm.
Had to go to the garage and get a small sheet metal screw to close the new trap door.
The "new" motor had scratches on it, made me wonder if it was really new, but it works fine and will probably outlast me.

Interior bulb was burned out, turntable internal gear was stripped, and turntable ass'y wheel kept falling off
Motor was simple. Just snip out the bottom cover plate, disconnect the electrical connector, and unscrew the motor. Reverse to reinstall new motor. Rotate the cut out cover plate 180 degrees, fit tabs through slots, and screw back into place.

The wires aren't long enough to allow it to rest flat on the bench, but weight is low so it's easy to hold it upright while removing the motor unit. Note that there are a series of tabs at the bottom of the back cover that fit into holes in the baseplate of microwave. It can be a little tricky to line them up with the weight of the transformer, but it's not too bad. Once lined up, it drops in nicely and all the various screw holes line up. Turn table isn't turning, microwave doesn't start. Only the light is working
For model number LCRT2010BD
Hello Floyd, thank you for your question. We would recommend testing the door switches. Most of the time, when the unit won't turn on, but the light works, the door switches have failed. Here is a link for testing the door switches. https://www.partselect.com/Microwave+test-door-switch+repair.htm. I hope this helps!

Micro wave runs but does not heat
For model number lmc2075st
Hi Byron,
Thank you for your question. If the microwave is not heating, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which ones are causing the issue. You will need to check the magnetron, the diode and the door switches. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

When you set the timer,it only runs 3 seconds and then shuts off.
For model number LMC2075ST
H Rick,
Thank you for your question. If the timer is not working, the issue could be the electronic control board or possibly the door switches. You will need to test the parts with a multimeter to see which one is causing the issue. Here is a link to a video that will show how to use one, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWC44fHn0As. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
