My in door ice make has stopped producing ice cubes. It is still cold and what ice is in the holder comes out when bottom is pushed. What should I do to get it to work and do I need new parts. If so, what parts? Thanks Gerry
For model number 79579733900
Hello Gerry, thank you for reaching out. We suggest that you check the water inlet valve, part number PS3533117. If this does not fix the issue, then the ice maker assembly, part number PS3532293, might be damaged and need to be replaced. If you require assistance to place an order, please contact customer service. We hope that helps!
My fridge section is above my freezer. Fridge was getting to cold and freezing everything , I reset power , temp went back to normal and thermostats worked as it should - but now I’ve maker light , and door flap solenoid blinking of and on and cycling . Would this be main power board in back of refrigerator? Also- should I replace temp sensor in fridge?
For model number 79578773800 Kenmore elite refrigerator
Hello Jeff, thank you for contacting us. The issue is most probably related to the main control board, part number PS3533837. It controls the cooling and defrosting cycles. We would also recommend testing the temperature sensor, part number PS3529164, for continuity with a multimeter. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you require assistance placing an order. Thanks again for reaching out!
